Goal: $6,000,000
Raised: $2,548,264
For more than 20 years there have been efforts to establish a regional Catholic high school to serve students in the upper Rio Grande Valley of South Texas-Hidalgo, Willacy and Starr counties. Now, we are closer to making that dream a reality with the donation of 40 acres in north Edinburg.
Our goal is to raise $6 million to build our school, provide tuition assistance and open our doors to the first Freshman class in Fall 2009.
Last year a committee of dedicated volunteers began a capital campaign along with the Superintendent of Catholic Schools with the support of Most Rev. Raymundo Peña, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Brownsville.
We have the support and commitment from three religious orders: Congregation of Christian Brothers, Congregation of St. Basil and Incarnate Word Blessed Sacrament Sisters as well as dedicated community and business leaders.
Please look through our site and give prayerful consideration to helping our ministry. God bless you!
